The Women of Refreshing Springs will gather at the AMC of West Chester on Saturday, Sept 5, 2015 for a noonday outing! We will be viewing a Christian film called “War Room.” This movie follows a family that faces multiple challenges and find their faith being tested. With the help of a Seasoned Saint, they are taught how to utilize the gift of Prayer while standing in Faith. They declare war on their situation and continue to pray until they receive the Victory. After the movie we will meet across the street at Panera Bread for a group discussion. (Two free movie passes will be given out during the Women’s Retreat)
Tuesday, September 22, 2015 (7pm-8:30pm) The Women of Refreshing Springs will host its quarterly Worship Session and Bible Study at the YWCA of Hamilton Ohio.
Friday, October 9, 2015 (7:30pm -9am Sat) The God’s Vessels of Honor II Overnight fellowship for Mothers and Daughters. This will be a continuation of the Women’s Retreat and open to daughters, nieces, cousins, neighbors, and all women and young ladies who are willing and able.
Thursday, October 22, 2015 (6pm – 7:30pm) The Women of The Springs will have an opportunity to serve the community. We need 4-6 women to prepare and serve approx 30 people at the Serve City Homeless Shelter. The Shelter is located at 622 East Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. This facility can house up to 47 people at a time with approx 30 people present during mealtime. This will be a great opportunity to witness the love of Jesus Christ and serve our fellow brothers and sisters.
Sunday, November 22, 2015 (2pm) The Men & Women of The Springs will collaborate to collect food and non perishable items for our Thanksgiving Baskets. All items will be due this Sunday to assemble and distribute.
Tuesday, December 22, 2015 (7pm-8:30pm) Women to YWCA of Hamilton to spread the love of Jesus and distribute Christmas Cards and gift bags.
