2019 Puerto Rico Mission Trip Announcements

•Fundraising:
1. Calendar Fundraiser
Everyone will have a calendar that has a space for each day of the month. Find a person to sponsor each day of the month. They will donate $1 per day of the month. For example, if someone sponsors day 31 they donate $31. If they sponsor day 10 they will donate $10.
Objective: Each person will be able to raise $496
•Fundraising:

2. Call-a-Thon
Get the church involved! Pick a date. Share the vision of doing missions in Puerto Rico. Invite everyone come to together with all their contacts. Have a sign up sheet. Specifically ask people to make calls. Day of callathon have call their personal contacts share what we’re doing and ask if they will donate $21.
Objective: Have 20 people dialing. Everyone get 10 people to donate $21
Feel free to provide light snacks.

3. Popcorn Fundraiser:
We have 4 days to raise as much money as we can. How it works
Join This Event Now!
Download the Double Good App to launch your Pop-Up Store, then share your link with as many friends and family members as possible. How much can you raise in 4 days?

- The fundraising Event will be available to everyone in your group for 7 days.
- Each participant that joins will have 4 days to sell and may only join this Event once.
- Participants that join will earn 50% profit from sales.
- Funds from each participant will automatically be turned in to you when the fundraising Event has ended.

April 23, 2019 Updates
•Fees:
DATE EXTENDED $599 due date is extended. We now have until 4/30/19 to complete payment to Group Missions our partnering organization. If you need payment arrangements please contact me ASAP.
MAY 15TH The next big payment due is for airfare/car rental $572. May 15th money due. (Cost may vary)
I really need everyone to push to raise your funds. We are behind on our target dates but I know it can be done. If you had people pledge please be sure to follow up with them.
•Fundraising:
General fundraising donations to defray cost will be determined once all donations are collected. Many donors have chosen to donate to specific people so we will honor that.
If you need help fundraising we have an opportunity to sell popcorn through Double Good and earn 50% of proceeds. If you're interested in doing this let me know. Forms are available for you to start selling.
Other ideas:
-Calendar fundraiser is good for any month
-group car wash
-pick up the phone and ask your friends and family for their monetary support
-follow up with people who made pledges

Please complete online trip forms by Friday April 26.
